Hit and Run victim saved by Dial '108' Kerala

Sometime back '108' Ambulance, Kerala team received a call from the person who himself got injured in the hit and run road accident. Since the victim was the only one at the accident spot with bad phone connectivity (in remote area) it was difficult to track the location.

Our CDC immediately sent the Ambulance and asked the person not to disconnect the call in between. Our Ambulance reached the location in 15 minutes, but since the victim was in unconscious state - our Ambulance crew increased the sound of the siren which helped in locating the victim. Our prompt service saved the victim's life as he was transferred to the nearby hospital just in time.

Remembering the number “108” saved his life- so all Keralites save this number now !

Dial '1298' Ambulace service Launched in Borivali

Dial '1298' Ambualance is rapidly exapnding it's network in Mumbai and good news is that -Borivali, the sub-urban area of Mumbai is now added to 1298 network !

To make people aware of this facility in their neighhbourhood - 20,000 newspaper inserts were organised in leading daily - Times of India on 20th Feb. In addition Free Health Camp at Rani Laxmi Bai Park was organised on 21st Feb. This enabled people to experience our state of art Ambualnce facilities.

People in large numbers visited the Health Camp after reading the newspaper insert. Not only this activity was a huge success but on popular demand - Free Health Camp is being again organised at Veer Savarkar from 6am-10am on 28th Feb.   Now we will be able to serve the Borivali 24 x7 , 365 days!

Dial 108 Kerala saved 100 school children

Dial '108' was part of a major rescue operation on 17th February at Karikkakam in saving 100 injured students in a road accident.

A school bus comprising of students and their maiden fell into the river due to a road mishap. On receiving this tragic news, Dial 108 Control Room in Trivandrum immediately rushed six '108' Ambulances to the site. The Ambulance staff provided basic First Aid to the injured students and transferred them to the nearest hospital.

‘108’ Punjab Ambulances were unveiled on 26th January 2011

5 Basic Life Support Ambulances took part in the rally on The Republic Day, 26 January 2011 in Bhatinda. This event was attended by Mrs Laxmi Kant Chawla- Health Minister (Punjab), Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs), Assistant Deputy Commissioner and thousands of people. 

Dr Goyal, Civil Surgeon said “108 Punjab Ambulance is a great initiative and will be of great help to the people of Punjab”. This project is supported by National Health Rural Mission.
